Free crochet pattern: Mini Bobble Wall-Hanging

If you’re looking for a fast and simple project to satisfy your creativity for an evening, then I’ve got a pattern for you… these cute boho wall-hangings can be made within an hour and have just the right level of challenge and ease to keep you interested.

Many moons ago I used to sell these as finished items, but I’m now offering the pattern up here for free. You can find all of the instructions below, but if you’d like a printable version so you can scribble notes or make your own adjustments then it is available to buy in my shop for a very small fee.

Notes on the pattern:

This pattern is written in US crochet terms, but you can find the UK abbreviation below:

Ch - chain stitch

Sc - single crochet (UK double crochet)

Bo - Bobble stitch

Dec. - decrease

The turning chain at the beginning of a row does not count as a stitch.

Special stitches:

Bobble stitch:

  1. yarn over, insert hook into stitch and pull up loop. Yarn over, pull through two.

  2. repeat first step until you have 5 loops on your hook.

  3. yarn over, pull through all 5 loops at once.

  4. single crochet in next stitch to finish (this counts as the next stitch).
