I live in Sheffield, UK with my husband and two young children.
I used to run a small creative business for nearly five years that, although I loved, took up too much of my energy for little (financial) reward. Burnout and overwhelm made me decide to let the business go at the start of 2020 and put my crochet hooks down for the foreseeable future. This was unknowing, of course, of the year we were all about to embark on.
Needing a new focus, I took a course in coaching which saw me through some of the tougher months of 2020 and helped me connect with some wonderful creatives, as well as myself. This course changed my life - the way I think, the way I approach problems and the decisions I make. This, along with the pandemic, gave me clarity around the kind of life I wanted to build for myself: one with more calm, more connection and more creativity.
Later that year I picked up my crochet hooks again. I rediscovered the joy that I had previously lost and now consider crochet part of my self-care toolkit.
Now logii has a renewed focus and energy - something that would not have happened if it wasn’t for that fateful year of change and reflection.
Creativity is an important part of my wellbeing, and I hope to inspire that in you too.
